These task cards work on the skill of reading food packaging and the Nutrition Facts label. Each task card asks a question about the food packaging or nutrition label. There are factual questions, evaluation/opinion questions, and comparison questions. There are 40 task cards in all.

-Which food do you think is better for you? Why?
Please note: these task cards require real food packages. The comparison questions require two food packages. It is important for students to have practice with and to apply their reading skills to real items.
The cards can be used for instruction, guided practice or independent work. The student can answer these questions using a dry erase marker or verbal response.
