Build your own food plate and/or food pyramid.
The food plate (choose my plate) is the new food pyramid. It looks like a plate that is divided into grains, dairy, fruits/veggies, and protein.
You can either cut up the plates and have students assemble them or leave them as they are and just color/draw foods on the plate.
There is also a food pyramid that kids can put together. Again, color/draw foods.
I included both so you could choose which one you wanted to use.
There is also two writing pieces. One is about their favorite food and what group it is in and the other is a T-chart for healthy/not healthy foods.
