Are you tired of the same old pictures? Need a little variety in your life - then these are the cards for you. This set of cards includes 6 items from different categories. Categories include instruments, breakfast foods, desserts, vegetables, vehicles and fruit. There are 2 identical pictures of each item. The items included are items that students will see in everyday life, but are unique enough that they are not included in picture sets sold by major distributors. The pictures included are as follows: drum, guitar, tuba, trumpet, harp, saxophone, boat, bus, helicopter, airplane, scooter, golf cart , asparagus, broccoli, celery, mushroom, corn, pepper, banana, blueberries, cherry, peach, strawberry, pineapple, ice cream bar, cake, candy bar, cupcake, pie, cookie, egg, oatmeal, pancake, waffle, bagel, bacon.
These cards can be used to work on matching skills, sorting items into categories, expressive labeling, action identification and can be used as a visual prompt when students are filling in the blank ( a type of breakfast food is ________ ) or answering a question ( Tell me a type of instrument). A great tool to have and use when teaching language to all students! :)
