Using a QR scanner, students must find and scan all 15 stations. Each is linked to a website about a specific animal in the desert/chaparral ecosystem. Students must read through the information to determine each organism's diet and fill in the corresponding worksheet creating a food web based on what they read from the different websites. Finally, the students add on what type of producer or consumer each organism is based on their various interactions.
Scatter the QR codes around your room or around the school (I have mine individually pasted on color paper and laminated and "hide" them in various places outside my room) and have fun watching your students run around searching and gathering information.
