This handout is a guide for students to use when researching international foods in the Family and Consumer Sciences classroom. Each student in the classroom receives a country/province to research, then uses this guide to research the country. Page 2 of this handout is directions for students to create an Food of the World/International Foods brochure to use to present to the classroom. After the brochure is made, students then follow the instructions to demonstrate a food for the country. Simply print the worksheet, go over the guidelines with your students, have them complete the handout with your Food textbooks or the internet. Computers will be needed to create the brochure. You could opt to have your students hand make their brochure with card stock and art supplies as well.
