Not just another review!

Students resist reviews. They’ve learned it all once. Why should they bother going through it again? With Football Fan, an original, fun, and competitive game, students want to master skills in order to surge ahead of the competition to win.

With this pre-prepared game template, teachers just start PowerPoint, open the file, add up to 20 questions and answers tailored to meet their needs, and the game begins.

How to play Football Fan:
1. Teams take turns answering questions (from a worksheet, orally, or as part of the slide show).
2. If using the scorekeeping slide only, each correct answer earns them one click of their team’s football to move it 5 yards toward the goal.
3. If using the question slides:
> They click a football at the bottom of the question slide to reveal the points earned.
> Then click the ‘back’ arrow at the bottom of the slide.
> Click their team’s football for the number of points earned in increments of 5 (i.e. 20 points = 4 clicks) to advance their football toward the goal.
OR
For simpler scoring -- Just click the back arrow at the bottom of the question slide and have the team click their football once.

NOTE: For even more fun and full student engagement, allow all teams to answer the question and pick a football if correct.
ANOTHER NOTE: All point values can also be edited. Just click and drag the football image out of the way, type a new value, then recover it with the image.

4. The team crossing the goal line first or closest to the goal after all questions have been answered wins.

A “How to Play” slide appears on the last slide of the game.
