This folder game (in PDF) is a great and fun way to assess (formally and informally) your students knowledge regarding whole, half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes and rests. The game board is a football field and students use the spinners or dice (included) to determine how many yards to move across the field, after correctly answering a question from the "Official Time Out" cards. The objective is to be the first person in the group to score a touchdown.
This is a wonderful addition to your resources that can be used as a reinforcement for skills being learned, as a review, for use in centers/workstations, as a test, for early finishers and as a game for your sub tub!:) It's a great accompaniment to my Football Fanatic interactive games and vocalizations. This set includes color and B&W options.
Included: game board (football field), 2 spinner versions, 2 die versions, 3 types of game tokens (football helmets, footballs and football players (boys and girls), 64 pre-made questions (pertaining to how many beats notes/rests get and how many of one type equal another type), editable cards in PowerPoint (for you to add additional types of notes/rests), Symbol Cards, Directions and Teacher Tips.
The football theme is great to use during autumn/fall or around the big pro football play-off games and championship!
