The following activities are included:
• Football Frenzy: Students roll a dot die and trace the numeral on their paper. Numbers are orange so they appear light when copied and are easier to tell if students have traced them. CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.A.3 Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
• Pep Rally Choose and Color: Students will choose a ten frame card (*not provided*) and color the number on their cheerleaders. CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.B.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
• What’s the Score?: Students compare numbers in the score boxes and color the box that is more. CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.C.7 Compare two numbers between 1 and 10 presented as written numerals.
• Football Number Identification Board Game: Students roll a die, move their game piece, and identify the number on the spot where they landed. CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.B.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
