Pages 3-4: visuals for describing and/or comparing and contrasting; use hula hoops to compare and contrast and get kids up and moving around!
Page 5: visual recipe with adapted symbols; follow the recipe and have students request tools/help necessary for steps.
Page 6: communication board for non-verbal students.
Page 7: visuals for sequencing; cut apart to make 6 cards representing steps of the process.
Page 8: a mat to use for sequencing (do NOT cut apart); place cards on this mat in the correct order; use Velcro so cards stay in place.
