Help your students understand the relationship between speed, distance, and time better through a hands-on experiment. Using dominoes carefully spaced equal distances apart, let your students compare how changing the distances between the dominoes will change the time and speed with which they tumble and fall. Practice finding the speed that the dominoes fell and create graphs showing the relationship between distance and time.
Activity includes directions, a blank lab report to allow your students to do their own science lab write-ups, pre-made data table and blank graph, and a question page to deepen students' understanding of their data.
