Product Description
This is a great large group experiment that can be used to teach the scientific process. It shows students how different variables impact an experiment, and they have a hands on look at force and motion by observing a car going down a ramp. Finally, they see concrete evidence that safety belts are important!

In this product you will receive:
- a list of materials
- step by step instructions for how to prepare and conduct the experiment
- real photos accompanying the instructions to provide clarity
- printable forms for recording class and student predictions and results
- writing paper for reflection afterwards

This experiment is one of six that is included in my Inquiry Process unit, which can be found here:

Inquiry Process Science Unit

It is also one of nine that is included in my Force and Motion science unit, which can be found here:

Force and Motion Science Unit

If you enjoy this experiment, consider getting the full sets! (Note: This is the only experiment that is included in both full units.)
