These stations were created as an entry lesson into our Force and Motion Unit. Through exploration and experimentation, students were able to informally, but directly, interact with force, motion, direction, friction, speed, and more. The main purpose of the stations was to build prior knowledge that would allow the students to have a concrete example to connect to during vocabulary introduction the next day. The stations also supported team building since they rotated in groups and allowed for practice in speaking and listening. Allow approximately 10-12 minutes per station.
