As an elementary ESOL teacher, I created this game to provide my students with a fun and engaging way to review for their science assessment. This force and motion review game provides students the opportunity to practice reading key academic vocabulary related to force and motion. The visual aids provide students with a scaffold to access the academic vocabulary. This review game may be played with 2 students in a cooperative learning environment. Students are able to demonstrate their reading comprehension of science vocabulary. Alternatively, this game could be facilitated by a teacher who reads the question cards to younger students, struggling readers, or English Language Learners. Students demonstrate their listening comprehension of science vocabulary.
