This activity is meant to be used as a warm up or short group activity as part of our larger Boot Camp Bundle. Students receive daily letters from “The General” in order to complete missions as part of their end of year review. The following report regarding enemy movements includes a letter for students and then 4 scenarios about the rate of travel for the enemy troops, as well as 10 task cards. Students are asked to use their knowledge of force and motion in order to calculate speed and consider other factors that contribute to speed.
Use the following paper as a quick “check in” and then our enemy movements task cards can be printed later to continue to review the skills.
Answer key included, but note than answers may vary due to the open-ended nature of the last two questions.
