Activity 1: Gravity – Helicopter Lab: used to explore how mass
and distance affect gravity.
Activity 2: Case Study: Phototropism & Geotropism: Depending
on time and resources, the case study is designed to be used
with or without the actual lab set-up.
Activity 3: Turgor Pressure. A hands-on activity that requires
prep time one day before student observations are made.
Activity 4: Human Body Systems – Blood Pressure. Students will conduct an experiment to determine that blood pressure is a force used by the human body and is a result of a push as the heart muscles contract, sending blood throughout the body.
