With this study, students will analyze the characteristics, and development of different political systems, with emphasis on other democracies, emerging democracies, and authoritarian governments. Additionally, they will look at economic policies, social welfare policies, and human rights practices in another country. Student will also compare the various ways in which power is distributed, shared, and limited in different political systems.
