PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a great short lesson to do with students after reading The Landlady. Foreshadowing, suspense, and tone/mood should be taught before this lesson.

Students will use direct quotes from the text to show the author's use of foreshadowing. They will then provide an analysis of that quote, explaining what it foreshadows and how it creates suspense.

Feel free to modify to best fit your students' needs or particular version of the text you're using.
