I've taken 3 of my animal units that use forest animals as the base and combined them here.
Farm or Forest-Wild or Tame:
This pack uses the concrete example of a farm animal vs a forest animal to begin exploring wild vs domesticated animals. Use the activities provided to bring awareness of the differences to your young learners.
Herbivore, Carnivore or Omnivore:
This pack is focused around 24 information cards. They consist of a couple simple sentences describing what different animals eat. Help your students understand the terms herbivore, carnivore and omnivore and learn to apply those labels to a variety of forest animals.
Use the resources in this pack to brainstorm different animals that walk, swim, fly and hop. Play games with, write about and sort the various forest animals while focusing on how they move.
A Bonus Animal Features pack is included in this bundle.
Use various animal features to sort, describe and differentiate between forest animals. With simple graphing and “fill in the blank” worksheets as well as animal feature games, kids vocabulary will grow.
