Test your students' retention and mastery of ANY subject while they are having interactive fun in the process! Totally Recalled!™ is a question and answer game that allows all students (not just the standard three contestants you get on TV) to be involved, playing at the same time. As teacher/game show host, you will make a copy of your Totally Recalled!™ PowerPoint™ Game Board and record questions and answers to subjects and topics that are to be reviewed. At “game time” pass out the students’ answer sheets so each may respond to the 4 categories and 16 questions in the game. After the kids record the headings of the four categories, advance to the game board. Pull names for kids to request a category and amount; click on that question box to reveal the question behind it. Once everyone has a chance to read and consider the revealed question and record their answers, click on the HOME button in the lower right corner. This will take you back to the main board where another question can be chosen. After completing all the questions, review questions and answers by beginning the slideshow in Presentation (full screen) Mode, starting at slide 7. Advance the slides one at a time to show the question and (on the next slide) the answer for a second review of the subjects and topics which were covered. Of course, with the students grading their neighbor’s responses, your grading will be done instantly. Save your questions and answers on the game board for next year (and the years after that). My students love playing this game! This coming year I think I will do one each Friday as a way to review the key pieces to the week’s lessons.
