This is a 2 page formative assessment that tests for vocabulary recognition, imperfect production, and the ability to distinguish between preterite and imperfect questions.
Section 1 (16 points); Students look at 8 pictures of childhood activities, choose the activity from and word bank, and formulate a sentences using the imperfect and the subject prompt. (All subject pronouns are used)
Section 2:(14 points): Students conjugate the imperfect verb given the subject prompt. Both 'ser' and 'ir' are in this section, and all subject pronouns have both -er/-ir and -ar conjugation prompts.
Section 3: (10 points): Students respond to 5 questions in the imperfect or the preterite, given the context. OJO! My students need practice in differentiating between the two. Make sure you give them the heads up.
Section 4 (1 point extra credit): Students read a quote and respond to the question.
