Students will get up and moving around the classroom with this activity!
Each student gets an "element" card and then has to find other "elements" that it will bond with. Students then have to figure out the name of their new compound and draw the compound's structure.
For example: If a student has the element hydrogen and wants to form H2O, that student must find another student with hydrogen and a student with an oxygen card.
Works great with a larger class!
