This activity practices forming quadratic equations which have their respective roots given by using the factoring formula or /and Vieta’s formulas. The product includes four different versions and one template of individual practice.
Activity Directions: Students have to form 12 quadratic equations individually.
Each equation has its two distinct roots (1 digit integers) given in a scheme. Students use the factoring formula or they can use Vieta’s formulas to form the quadratic equations. There is a hint to help students check if they have worked correctly. It gives the sum of all the coefficients of the required equations.
Answer keys - included for the first two versions.
