For the teacher:
Use this intriguing game to help students review for vocabulary terms associated with energy. Altogether there are 14 vocabulary terms with definitions. The puzzles starts with ‘Start” and if all items are matched correctly, it will end with “End.” Each puzzle may take on a different shape, but they should all go in the same order. As the puzzle is right now, it goes in order across for an answer key.
You can print off, laminate, cut, and store in Ziploc baggies for repeated use. This is great as a center or can be used as a whole class game. I personally like to make several copies on different colors of computer paper to ensure that pieces do not go missing or get mixed in with another puzzle.
The following vocabulary words are used in this puzzle: Energy, potential energy, chemical energy, stored mechanical energy, nuclear energy, conservation of energy, energy transformation, kinetic energy, electric energy, radiant energy, thermal energy, mechanical energy, sound energy, and solar energy.
I hope you and your students enjoy!
Goes along great with my Forms of Energy
