This video covers two patterns of valid reasoning: Modus Ponens and Modus Tollens. Great as an introduction to formal logic, or as a way to give students tools before tacking mathematical proof.

Video includes:
-An explanation of Modus Ponens (affirming the antecedent).
-An explanation of Modus Tollens
-Examples showing symbolically how to recognize the patterns in an argument.
