Are your students obsessed with Fortnite like mine are? Do you wish that there was a way to trick them into doing math while they played? Now there is! Fortnite: The Card Game is designed to be played just like the video game, but instead of the computer calculating how much life you have left the students do it! Each player gets a 70 card deck that has attacking cards, defense cards and healing cards based on the hit game, Fortnite! The values on the cards were designed to mimic the gameplay they are used to, so it will feel like an authentic Fortnite experience.
Three Versions Included!
School Friendly Version that replaces the name of guns and instead lists items as common, rare, epic or legendary, with graphics of targets.
Realistic Version: Uses names of weapons from the game and includes images of the weapons.
No image Version: Keeps the names of the weapons but does not include an image.
Set up is easy: There are 10 cards per page, each is identically spaced, with just enough lee-way to make cutting a breeze. (7 pages per student). These can be cut out by the students using scissors or quickly by the teacher using a paper-cutter (I cut two decks to try in less two minutes). Allow 10-15 minutes for students to cut their cards out. Then let them play for hours...they won't even realize they are doing math!
This is great for all subject areas! As the end of the school year approaches all subject areas will need fun, engaging lessons to fill those testing days, end of year parties or just for the last couple days of the year. Your students will appreciate playing a game they are familiar with and your administators will be happy there is educational value!
