This Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman Novel Study is designed integrating common core standards to help you engage your students in your state's voting process for the State Book Awards. Standards assessments include question stems that will be seen on state assessments.
The assessment questions can be used as comprehension checks, guided reading discussion questions, center activities, homework, use during reading to take notes, teach close reading and writing constructed response answers.
Also included in this unit are vocabulary and writing activities. Activities such as challenging crossword puzzles and word searches, classifying by parts of speech, and a vocabulary graphic organizer are included.
