Have the students illustrate the word cards and post them around the room. Cut apart the definitions and you are ready to play.
The students choose a word to stand under/by. The teacher (or a student) reads the definition. All students say what the vocabulary word is that was described. The student(s) who were under that word sit down. The next definition is read and the game continues. The student(s) standing under the last word read is the winner.
