Foundation Documents: the Magna Carta, Mayflower Compact, English Bill of Rights & Thomas Paine's Common Sense
This lesson teaches how the Magna Carta, the Mayflower Compact, the English Bill of Rights, and Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" influenced the Founding Fathers in the run-up to the Declaration of Independence. While this lesson was designed for students taking the Florida End-of-Course exam, it will work for any Civics or U.S. Government class. This lesson includes:
