Take your students on a walk through history with this Founding Fathers Gallery Walk.
There are 3 different ways you can use this:
1.Simply print pages 6-15, copy on card stock, and hang around the room. Students can then tour the room, taking notes on the Founding Fathers as they go. Students can use the Graphic Organizer on pages 16-17 for note taking.
2. You can print pages 1-5 and use in Interactive Notebooks. Students can glue the notes, highlight important information, and write notes around the edges of the document.
3. Print whole set and tape onto student desks for a Founding Fathers Scoot. Students can use the Graphic Organizer on pages 16-17 for note taking as they "scoot" around the room.

After students learn about the Founding Fathers, we play a "Guess Who" Game. I write each of the Founding Father's names on a piece of masking tape (or painter's tape) until I have enough for each child to have one. I stick a piece of tape onto each student's forehead. They have to walk around the room asking "yes' or "no" questions until they can guess which Father is on their forehead. When they guess it correctly, they take the tape off, but keep walking around helping answer other student's questions until everyone has guessed their person.
