15 quick movement breaks or time fillers that can be used any time.
A GREAT activity for the beginning of the year that allows students to get to know each other. You can also use this throughout the year and change the prompts as you go.
Directions are included for putting it together and how to use it.
Quick Summary: You have a list of categories in four corners of your classroom. You read off the four topics that are shown (i.e. T.V., Park, Sports, Friends) and the prompt: "What did you spend most of your summer doing?" Students go to the corner that best represents their answer. Teachers then can choose students or pick sticks to ask students to explain why they chose as they did. It's amazing what you learn about your students in such a short amount of time!
