Four Corners is a fun interactive game for students to become engaged while learning about 3D solid figures. You can post four posters around your classroom OR as many as you choose to post for students to call them out!

Figures included:

  • cylinder
  • sphere
  • cube
  • ovoid
  • hexagonal prism
  • rectangular prism
  • triangular prism
  • pentagonal prism
  • pyramid
  • cone

Post the pages of the figure pages around the room. Have one student be the caller and cover their eyes to count to 10 while all the other students find a place to stand under a 3D figure. The caller names a figure and the students standing under that figure are out. Repeat. Students need to find a new shape to stand under. Continue until there is one winner.

I hope you and your students enjoy this math activity.
