This resource practices Word Work in a fun way using a colorful and playful circus theme. All centers are based on the Common Core Standards for kindergarten, but can also be used for early first grade or review practice for first grade that does not require a lot of instruction.
The four literacy centers in this resource are
1. Matching CVC pictures on popcorn kernels to words on a popcorn box
2. Sorting word families onto circus themed mats. The word families are AM IT OP EN UP
3. Sorting circus pictures into 1, 2, or 3 syllables sorting mats.
4. Sorting pictures into singular and plural
A recording sheet is included in all four of the literacy centers.
