This handout is a concise review of the processes involved in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions. There are step-by-step instructions and three examples for each operation, which makes this a great lesson for a shortened class period or for a substitute. Answers are included, but the work is not shown.
There is also an alternative method for dividing fractions. It is alone on page 3. So if you do not want to teach it to your students, you will not need to change the file at all, simply do not print page 3.
