This printable contains 16 sentences, 4 of each kind, to sort. Students fold a large piece of construction paper to create 4 quadrants, then glue one apple themed sentence label in each corner. Two sets of sentence types are included, depending on the vocabulary used at your grade level: statement, question, command and exclamation for younger students, and imperative, exclamatory, declarative and interrogative for older students. Students must not only sort the sentences, but place the correct punctuation at the end as well. Each page of punctuation marks will make enough sets for 6 students. Each page of sentence types will make enough sets for 4 students. Although I used this as an individual activity for students in one class, I also used it as a partner activity in another. It worked well both ways.
