Students will have the opportunity to create their own book about the seasons. The activity includes an introduction about the earth's axis and how its tilt determines the seasons. It also comes with a fill-in-the blank activity sheet that correlates with the book. The students are given information about summer. They must use their inferencing and diagram interpretation skills to fill in the blanks on the sheet. The sentences on the information sheet can be copied onto the pages of the book, word-for-word. This will ensure accuracy as well as proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation on their final copy. An answer key is included with the activity.
When copying the pages of the book, be sure to copy front to back. The pages are in order as they should appear when folded in half.
