This product can be used in a large or small group setting. After printing and laminating, I placed magnets on the backs of each card. I placed the four season sorting cards on the board and had my students take turns sorting each picture to its associated season.
After, we counted the amount of cards sorted into each season category. As you will notice, each season has a different amount of cards associated with it. We then put the seasons in order considering the amount of cards each had. For example: Summer has five pictures associated with it, winter has four, fall has three and spring has two.
You could also use this product to assess students understanding of sorting, counting, and ordering quantities.
