This PowerPoint is a fun way to review the four sentence types: declarative, imperative, exclamatory, and interrogative.
This PowerPoint game includes 30 slides.
Instructions: Divide the class into two teams and give each team one flyswatter. One student from each team should take the flyswatter and stand in a designated area. Have a student read the sentence on the slide aloud. When the teacher says "go," both students should try to hit the correct sentence type with his or her flyswatter. The student who is first to swat the correct answer wins a point for his team!
(On a side note, I always give the students some "think time" after the sentence is read out loud and before I say "Go!")
