Introduce the concept of Multiplication using

1) arrays
2) skip-counting
3) "groups of"
4) repeated addition

Each example demonstrates the inverse property of multiplication (i.e. 5 x 8 = 8 x 5)

This will help students understand the why and how of multiplication; reaching beyond rote memorization of products
