***This resource includes moveable pieces and/or text boxes for your students to interact with!! This is a Google Slides resource. You can download it as individual picture files or as a Microsoft Powerpoint slideshow. Photo directions for adding these slides to Nearpod and SeeSaw are included as well.

Do you need a simple, no prep way to review place value concepts with your students? This is a set of Google Slides that is perfect to use as a mini-lesson, when working with small groups, for intervention or reteaching, or even for your students to work through independently. Your students will practice:

-writing number words to one billion

-expanded notation with numbers to one billion

-x10 and one-tenth concepts

-rounding numbers

-compare and order

These digital place value slides for fourth graders are aligned with Texas TEKS and CCSS. They can be easily shared in Google Classroom, displayed on a video conferencing platform, or projected on the board for a mini-lesson.

I also love to upload my slides into SeeSaw or Nearpod when I use them with my fourth graders. Directions for Nearpod and SeeSaw are included. It is so EASY, and fun, for them to interact with the material on these platforms. Your students can follow along and show what they know. My teammate prints them out as a PDF, and her students take notes on them. Either way, these slides can be used to introduce a topic or even as an exit ticket. Best of all, they can be easily adapted to fit the needs of your students.

Now, your interactive notebooks will become digital, and there are NO paper copies needed. I hope you love these digital Place Value Slides as much as I do!

Use place value understanding to round multi-digit whole numbers to any place.
Read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. Compare two multi-digit numbers based on meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons.
Recognize that in a multi-digit whole number, a digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right. For example, recognize that 700 ÷ 70 = 10 by applying concepts of place value and division.
