Reading - Students will identify the story elements as they write a book review for the story.

Science - Students observe and record information about the physical properties of a collection of rocks.
10) Sylvester and the Magic Pebble - Your Own Magic Pebble:
Writing - Students plan and write a story about what happens to them after finding Sylvester's magic pebble.
11) Sylvester and the Magic Pebble - Word Map:
Word Study - Students will create a word map to share about an interesting word from the story.
12) Sylvester and the Magic Pebble - Comic Strip:
Art - Students will create a comic strip of the story events.

Math - Students will solve and write word problems using a menu from a French Cafè.
