This file contains 19 pages, and each page contains four cut-apart cards. There are a total of 68 questions, covering every fourth grade Common Core math concept. Cards are numbered and the Common Core standard is listed on each. There is also a student answer sheet included if you choose to use it. (I would recommend printing the cards on card stock and laminating them so you can reuse the activity from year to year.)
Some standards have only one question, but there are multiple questions for the more difficult math concepts.
While you can customize the rules to suit your particular needs, this activity is designed to both review the math curriculum and get students to move.
Start by selecting approximately 22-23 questions for a session and spread the cards around the room. Students start at any number as long as no other student has chosen it. Give the students anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes to solve each problem, then say "Scoot!" to get them to rotate to the next question. Check questions at the end. You can show the questions on a projector and go over any questions students had problems with.
My students thoroughly enjoyed this activity!
