These 8 checklists (adapted from Fountas & Pinnell's "The Continuum of Literacy Learning") contain:
*user-friendly information on characteristics of a level G-O text
*teaching points for level N-U readers on decoding
*teaching points for level N-U readers on fluency
*teaching points for level N-U readers on various levels of comprehension (summarize, predict, connect, infer, synthesize, analyze, critique)
**NOTE- all BOLD font indicates what is new to that level to help the teacher grow readers at each level with targeted instruction!
There is a checklist for each level and this bundle can be used to help learn about text complexity (CCSS aligned), to plan appropriate teaching points for guided reading groups and/or to help conference with readers.
This is an excellent resource for a Teacher's Toolkit!
