This sly differentiated counting set will allow your students to practice recognizing numerals and placing them in numerical order, skip counting by 2s. This fun activity can be used as a math extension for Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss.
• There is a set of cards for students to skip count by 2s up to 100 on a clothesline or in a pocket chart. (For younger grades or for differentiating purposes you may choose to only go up to 30.)
• After they have finished putting the number cards in order, there are two extension activities for students using a hundred charts as a reference. (You would laminate this chart and place it at the station for students to use if they need help.)
• Students can complete a Hundreds Chart by filling in the missing numbers. This is differntiated for students to fill in up to 30, 50, or 100
• Students can cut and glue the missing numbers into a chart. This is differentiated to count up from: 2-30, 2-50, or 52-100.
