Fraction Bump is a fun way to practice identifying and simplifying fractions. Students have to think about the fraction that matches their die role (6/2 = 3 or 2/6 = 1/3), and sometimes think strategically to choose which number in each position will help them win. They have a blast "bumping" each other off the board!
The directions for the game are listed right on the game board, and it only requires dice and counters. I have a few copies laminated in the students' math centers area, and it makes a perfect no-prep game for collaborative learning. It's well-suited to a variety of ages; we even played it at our parent math showcase, and parents loved playing with their students.
Math is fun!
