Teaching fractions to students can be really fun, but can also be a huge burden if you don't have quality resources to help. Use these colorful cards and fun center ideas to engage students. Use the cards as a whole so you can compare fractions with models. Or, print another set and cut the fraction and the model out seperately. Now you have a matching center! You can play "comparing war" and have students decide who's fraction is greater. Pull a fraction from a mystery bag and show that fraction as a model, on a number line, or in a set! Use these models to practice adding fractions, comparing fractions, or identifying fractions!
Fractions included in this set have the following denominators:
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12
