Description

This is a math center to practice fractions. It includes 16 different castles with fractions displayed using colored flags. The number of flags range from 4 flags up to 13 flags. There are four tower castles with fractions displayed as characters (princess, king, etc.). There are two recording sheets for each of the 20 castles asking specific questions about that castle. The first recording sheet has the student record the fraction as a phrase (3 out of 4 are red). The second recording sheet has the student record the fraction with a numerator and a denominator (3/4 are red).
This is good center for differentiation. Students could start with the castles with four flags and move their way up to the castles with 13 flags.
