These centers are a great way to help your students review important fractions concepts. Each center includes:
**A directions sheet
**Required materials for students to complete the center
**Answer sheets where appropriate
The centers review the following concepts:
**Roll and List: This center helps students practice listing multiples and factors as well as identifying prime and composite numbers. Students use dice to create numbers to use for each skill.
**Fraction Match: This center helps students practice changing improper fractions into mixed numbers and vice versa. It also reinforces the concept of equivalent fractions. Students are asked to find the mixed number and improper fraction cards that make a match.
**Problem Solver: The problems review adding and subtracting fractions as well as mixed numbers.
**Order in the Court:In this center, students are asked to compare or order fractions to determine if a defendant is guilty or innocent of their “fraction crime”.
I use this in my 4th grade classroom. The activities were all designed to match the 4th grade common core fractions standards.
