I created this fun game as an early finisher activity. With the purchase of this game, you get a set of fraction/decimal cards (about the size of a playing card) for tenths and a set for hundredths. Print them on cardstock and laminate. Then students shuffle the cards and lay them flat. They try to match the fraction with the corresponding decimal card. When they make a match, they keep the set and get a point. Play continues until all the cards are matched.
When I first had my students play, I only gave the students fraction and decimal cards for tenths. The kids really enjoyed it so I expanded it to include the hundredths. However, when including both the tenths and the hundredths in the game, the game took quite a while to play. So, if time is a consideration for you, you may want to do as I did and only make a set for tenths or hundredths which keep the game shorter. After playing a couple of times, the kids wanted to play it like Go Fish! and it worked so you can use it either way. Enjoy!
