PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This hands on activity asks students to relate a monetary amount to a decimal by displaying the correct amount of coins and bills on a chart, creating a decimal model, and then relating these two amounts to a fractional amount.
Students make the connection between the familiar money to the more abstract decimal and fractions.
This versatile chart and accompanying pictures of coins and bills can be used as guided practice, independent practice, or assessment.
