This zipped file contains a 3-page activity about changing a fraction into a decimal and then to a percent. It also has students create a survey question, which they will in turn create a pie chart of. This is a creative way to teach your students about how fractions, decimals, and percents all relate to each other. Your students will interview 10 classmates about a favorite choice that they make. For example, "favorite food" or "color". Then after the interview, the students will fill in their data table, and will create pie charts for fractions, decimals, and percents.
All files are saved in both PDF and Word. An answer key is provided.
